Connecting Women in Wales
Originally founded by Rebecca Jones and now a blossoming co-operative, the North Wales Women's Network (NWWN) is designed to connect women in Wales.
NWWN was re-launched in July 09 by eight forward thinking individuals who have a passion for business and see the need for networking and development opportunities specifically geared towards women.
Aimed at aspiring and professional business women who are either employed or self employed our initial aim is to provide opportunities for personal and business development and inter-trading in a structured and friendly manner.
Is NWWN for me?
We believe that NWWN offers a great opportunity to network and gain support for women who:
- Work for themselves or who own their own company
- Manage a business for someone else
- Work as a manager, executive or director in an organisation
- Are considering starting their own business
- What sets us apart from other networking groups?
What makes NWWN different from other networks?
As a co-operative NWWN is run by its members for its members with all profits being used for the benefit of women in Wales. Every member has the potential to influence the direction of the network. Also one of long term goals is to enable women from disadvantaged backgrounds to establish, develop or run an enterprise of their own. |
